Welcome back everyone from what was hopefully a relaxing and eventful half term we are now all recharged and ready to attack the last term of the year.
Our Maths focus has changed to Shapes both 3D and 2D classifications and we are in our final week in Literacy of our book ‘Fly Eagle Fly’. Our topic of Gateways to the world has been invigorated with many students travelling abroad and experiencing many of the aspects we have spoken about first hand. If there are any photos, plane tickets, or memorabilia from these adventures don’t hesitate to bring to school to share.
Next week we will be moving onto a new book written by Quentin Blake ‘The Green Ship’ and in maths we will be looking at ‘Measurement- Time’.
Please look out for SeeSaw messages regarding our upcoming trip on the 11th June (Harrow) and 12th June (London Bridge). Thankyou to those who have already made the payments and just a reminder that the total cost of this trip is £6.00. Please pay £2.00 of this via ParentPay, and make a cash payment of £4.00 for Pizza Express.
The Year 3 Team.
